We will assemble at 1pm at Sydenham Station and march through Albanese’s electorate to his office at 334 Marrickville Road. (See map in discussion)

Prime Minister Albanese has blood on his hands.

After almost 10 months of Israel’s genocide in Gaza over 40,000 Palestinians have been murdered.

The Albanese government is Israel’s accomplice. His government gives Israel endless political support.

The International Court of Justice recently ruled that Israel’s occupation in the West Bank is illegal, with its “near-complete separation” of Palestinians and Israeli settlers there breaching international laws about racial segregation and apartheid.

In response the Australian government has registered token opposition to Israel expanding settlements, but said nothing about ending its apartheid policies and the occupation as a whole. The Australian government still refuses to condemn Israel’s breaches of international law or to impose sanctions to demand Israel ends its occupation and the killing in Gaza.

Shamefully, the Albanese government is arming Israel’s genocide. Australian companies make parts for the F-35 jets Israel is using to drop bombs on Gaza. Some of these parts are made at the factory of Australian company Quickstep in Bankstown. The government fully supports this criminal enterprise. Albanese offers grants of up to $1.5 million for companies that make F-35 components.

Australia is integrated into the U.S. war machine which is backing Israel. The Pine Gap spy base in the Northern Territory is used by the United States to send intelligence to Israel, aiding their genocide and helping them terrorise the Middle East.

Our demands:

- act on the ICJ ruling to sanction apartheid Israel
- Stop arms trade with Israel now
- No F-35 fighter jet parts for genocide

We will be marching on Albanese’s office in Marrickville to demand that he cut ties with Israel’s genocide. The support of the Australian and other western governments is what allows Israel to continue the killing in Gaza. Global pressure, sanctions and an end to Western supplies of arms can force Israel to end its war.
