Ban West Bank settlement goods
Supermarket chain Harris Farm Markets is selling King Solomon brand dates, produced in Israeli settlements in the West Bank, which are illegal under international law.
The UK, France, Canada and other countries are sanctioning trade with these settlements due to “unprecedented levels of settler violence and settlement expansion”. UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband has admitted there is “ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in areas of the West Bank”.
Selling these dates delivers profits to the settlements that help entrench the brutal military occupation of Palestinian land.
Join us to call on Harris Farm Markets to stop selling them, and to demand the Albanese government join the sanctions on trade with Israeli settlements, as well as impose wider sanctions on weapons exports and trade with Israel as a whole.
