We must resist the police state Premier Chris Minns is trying to force on our streets. Police violently attacked thousands of peaceful demonstrators who refused to accept the ban on protest when genocidal war criminal Isaac Herzog came to Sydney. We are demanding justice and accountability for this attack and an end to repression.
On Thursday February 26 the validity of the Minns’ government’s draconian anti-protest laws will be challenged in the Supreme Court of Appeal. The case has been lodged by representatives of the Blak Caucus and Palestine Action Group with supporting evidence from Jews Against the Occupation 48, Pride in Protest and other social movements.
First Nations people have been brutalised hands of the NSW police force since it was established. But they have also led the resistance and that continues with this case. Minns’ repression of the movement is set to continue with his agenda of banning slogans and persecuting workers who speak up for Palestine. Stand united to show we will not be intimidated and will fight in the courts and on the street to end his repressive regime.
