The Betrayal of Palestinian Journalists

NSW Teachers Federation Auditorium Surry Hills NSW

On 20 October Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author Chris Hedges was scheduled to speak at the National Press Club in Canberra. Despite written confirmation the Press Club cancelled the talk, reportedly citing an interest in “balancing out our program”. He will now deliver the talk in Sydney instead, in addition to his already booked out forum on Tuesday 21 October.

Hedges is a former foreign correspondent for the New York Times, who spent seven years reporting from the Middle East, much of that time in Gaza.
